Identity and contact

Information processed

We process account details, profile and family information, audio recordings, transcripts, stories, dates, locations, photographs, family relationships, billing references, technical/security logs, and support communications when you provide or generate them.

Purpose and basis

We use the information to provide authenticated workspaces, private media, transcription, editing, PDF/export, print-request, billing, security, support, and legal/account administration. The usual basis is providing the service you request, legitimate security and operations needs, consent where specifically requested, and compliance with applicable obligations.

Providers and international processing

Supabase provides database, authentication, and private Storage. Hosting, email, Stripe billing, OpenAI transcription, and print providers are used only when configured. Content may be processed internationally depending on provider locations and account settings.

QR audio playback

Workspace editors may create no-login QR playback links for selected original audio. Those links can be disabled, revoked, regenerated, PIN-protected, or expired. Public QR playback does not grant workspace access and should not expose raw storage paths, service credentials, transcripts, or unrelated family content.

Your choices and responsibilities

You may request access, correction, export, deletion, objection, or restriction through the privacy contact. You are responsible for having permission to upload information about other people and for obtaining recording consent where required.

Retention, children, security, and changes

Retention depends on plan, account state, deletion requests, legal obligations, successor designations, and backup/restore needs. Successor controls are an access-review foundation, not a guarantee of permanent lifetime hosting. The service is not intended for children under the configured minimum age. Security controls reduce risk but no online service can be guaranteed risk-free. Material policy changes require a new acceptance version.
